Meet Chelsea
Owner & Curator of The Sea Collective
Hello! My name is Chelsea & I started The Sea Collective in August of 2020. I have always loved interior design and finding unique pieces by shopping second hand. I wanted to mix my two passions together and create a business where I can share my favorite vintage decor pieces with you, and also inspire home design that is affordable & accessible!
When I’m not shopping for treasures, I love being near the ocean more than anything in the world. It brings me such peace and calmness, which is why I chose the name “The Sea Collective.” Each item I collect is chosen carefully, and curated with you in mind!

You know that feeling when you’re headed to the beach? Take a moment and picture it with me. The sun is shining, the wind is warm, and you have the anticipation of feeling the sea breeze on your cheeks. A soft smile curls at your lips as the water comes into view. You’re here. It feels as though stress could melt off your shoulders and you could leave it behind along with your foot prints in the sand. You feel at peace. Once again you’re reminded of the vast beauty that lays across the water in an infinity of waves as far as the eye can see. The world feels both big and small in this one moment. Your soul connects to nature as you breathe in the fresh air that surrounds you. The sea welcomes you.
I hope you love that feeling as much as I do! In fact, that is how I long to feel every time I walk into my home. I want to feel the stress of the day melt off my shoulders. I want to look around and be reminded of the memories and love that sit under my roof. I long to take a hot shower and wash my worries away, and then slip into my comfiest clothes. Home. The feeling that you are safe and sound and wrapped up in a cocoon of relief. Shouldn’t it be that your home welcomes you just as the sea does?
I know that isn’t always the case, and quite often my own home finds itself cluttered & overwhelming. This is when I notice my mind feels cluttered too. After going through a 2 year “journey of healing” (emotionally, mentally & physically) I discovered how important it was to make my home a place where I could go to find restoration and healing. The design themes I keep throughout my home are very calm and neutral. I have put a lot of time and effort into curating a collection of goods that both serve a purpose but also evoke a feeling of calmness and serenity when I look around my living areas. I love combining elements of the earth to help me feel more grounded, while adding touches of soft, clean textures to help my mind rest.
My hope is that you can feel a sense of peace and restoration in your home too, which is why I have created this curated shop of treasures! May you always feel comfort in the little things in life that bring a little light into your day. Buy some flowers to put in your new vase, or curl up on the couch with a cup of hot coffee in your new mug… these items are here to bring a smile to your face & warmth to your heart.
Love, Chelsea
